1. Who's responsible for your data
The data controller is UCIB Corp (Bilal Ben El Kadi, entrepreneur individuel, SIREN 951630516), operating BIunify. Contact: bonjour@biunify.app.
2. What we collect
Account data: your name, email address, and avatar, from Google sign-in or from the email address you use for a magic-link sign-in. Product data: the clients, connections (workspace/dataset names), templates, and DAX measures you create in BIunify, this is your own business data, not personal data about your clients' end users. Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe; we only store a Stripe customer/subscription reference, never card details. We never ask for or store your clients' own Power BI login credentials.
3. Why we process it
To provide the service you've subscribed to (contract performance): authenticate you, run deployments you request, apply your plan's limits, and bill your subscription. Where relevant, to comply with our legal and accounting obligations as a French business.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors, each only for what they're needed for: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional and sign-in emails), Google (sign-in), Vercel (application hosting), Render (the deployment engine, private service with no public access), and a managed MongoDB database. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else.
5. Cookies
An essential cookie keeps you signed in. The service doesn't work without it, and it doesn't require consent. We may enable Google Analytics in the future to understand site usage; if we do, no analytics cookie is set until you accept the consent banner, and you can decline without any impact on using BIunify.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account and product data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we're required to keep billing records for the legal retention period.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR, you can access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict some of its processing. Write to bonjour@biunify.app, we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
8. Security
Access to your clients' Power BI/Fabric workspaces relies on a single Service Principal shared across BIunify, stored as server-side configuration, never in the database, never client-specific, and never sent to your browser. Traffic to and from BIunify is encrypted (HTTPS).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
