Nothing ships until you've seen it
Before every deployment, a diff preview shows exactly what's about to change for that client, measure by measure, to check or uncheck. Nothing gets written until you confirm.
If someone edits a measure by hand, you'll know
Drift detection, on demand or automatic: if the live expression at the client differs from what BIunify last deployed, the next screen starts unchecked instead of silently overwriting it.

Frequently asked questions
The client needs to be on a Premium, PPU, or Fabric capacity with the XMLA read/write endpoint enabled. That's what lets BIunify create and modify measures directly in their semantic model. Power BI Pro alone isn't enough.
No, never. BIunify doesn't need any password or personal login. You add a Service Principal, an application identity dedicated to BIunify, as an admin of the client's Fabric workspace, and it's that identity, never a user account, that accesses the semantic model.
BIunify detects it (on demand or automatically every day) by comparing the actually-deployed expression to what it last pushed itself. If a later change would overwrite that manual edit, the corresponding checkbox starts unchecked in the preview.
No, it stays stable. That's what makes tracking possible over time. What changes per client is the concrete DAX expression (via slots resolved per client) and the label shown in their report.
